Medical tourism is becoming an increasingly popular option for those seeking affordable medical care, whether chronic or cosmetic, in another country. As medical health care becomes more and more expensive in first world countries like the United States and the United Kingdom, medical tourism industries have been springing up as far afield as South Korea and South Africa. Nowadays, it’s more affordable to experience the sun, sea and surgery of a country abroad than to have that same procedure done in a home country.
