Every year an estimated 9000 women in the UK are diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Unfortunately the majority of these women do not respond to traditional breast cancer treatment, which is used to target other types of the disease. Triple-negative is also a particularly aggressive form of the disease which, when coupled with low response rate to the treatment, often results in early death.  Read more...
